Heavenly Chocolate Pie

Bake a 9 pie shell.

Meringue Layer:  Beat together 2 egg whites (save yolks for chocolate layer), teaspoon cream of tartar, teaspoon salt, and teaspoon cinnamon until stiff but not dry. Continue beating and gradually add cup sugar until very stiff.  Spread meringue over the bottom and sides of baked pie crust.  Bake at 325 degrees for 15 18 minutes until lightly browned.  Cool.

Dark Chocolate Layer:  Melt 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips.  Blend in cup water and 2 egg yolks.  Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.  Spread a thin layer over the meringue layer.

Whipped Cream Layer:  Beat together 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cup sugar and teaspoon cinnamon until thick.  Spread - 1 cup mixture over the dark chocolate layer.

Chocolate Whipped Cream Layer:  Fold remaining chocolate mixture into remaining whipped cream.  Spread on top of the whipped cream layer.

Chill at least 4 hours before serving.
